In my career I have worked for various companies both as a freelancer and as an employee. Large and smaller companies such as: Sony, Hoya, Markel, but also companies such as Guerilla Games, Celgene, Getronics, E-bookers, Top Employers and so on. They all have used my services. Process optimization, preparing periodic financial management reports, reporting for other stakeholders, optimizing period closings, preparing external audits, financial restructuring, implementation of ERP and financial software are the areas in which I work.
I’ve been in several roles, as a controller (user and key user), as an auditor (accountant), as a project leader, and as a person who is ultimately responsible (board). Therefore I understand and know which challenges each stakeholder has. This gives me an advantage in my work and I am a sparring partner at every level in an organization.
I always look for possible improvements when I work and when looking behind the scenes of organizations. Whether it is an IT company, Construction and contracting company, Bank, Arts or an Architectural firm, every company is unique and interesting.
In addition to process knowledge, I have worked with various Financial software / ERP packages such as Exact, Unit4, Accoutview, Afas, Twinfield, Infor, Trimergo, Navision (Business Central) and Microsoft 365 Finance & Operations. For reporting / consolidation software I have worked with Power BI, Jet Professional, Visionplanner, Lucanet, CaseWare, Make Life Easy, Audition and some others.

As of May 2023 I’m working as a interim professional for several projects and clients. Before that I worked as a Group Manager ERP at Avanade for 11 months. And before that I have worked for 5 years as a Senior Functional Consultant for Broad Horizon. I have been involved in various large and smaller projects including: IT retailers, charity organizations, bicycle retailers, production companies, yacht sellers, service providers and medical device suppliers. In this position I was responsible for the implementation, re-implementation and optimization of Microsoft Business Central (Navision) with a specialization in Finance and stock valuation. As of January 2021 I’ve been involved in an internal project “One F&O”. In this project I’ve supported and trained our internal controllers in the company reporting structure.June
The Finance department is the center where all the results of all activities come together. Unfortunately, this department is not seen as the center of attention in every organization. With my people skills, I build a bridge between the different departments so they can work seamlessly together. I make sure that reliable but most of all timely information is available at any moment. Fast and correct information is essential for every company in the current society.
In addition to my work at Broad Horizon, I have worked as an interim professional on various projects in the field of finance. Automating cash flow overviews, optimizing month-end closings, preparing management reports and reports to other stakeholders are some of the assignments I have performed. I’ve experience with IFRS, US GAAP and DUTCH GAAP reporting.

External parties, but also internal people have an interest in the functioning of the organization. As a professional I have a helicopter view and I bring both parties together by connecting them.
Reliable, timely and up-to-date information is becoming increasingly important as the world is constantly changing and companies need to change faster to keep up. With reliable reports I help the business and management to make the right decisions.
